A testimony is a written or spoken record of all that God has done. The Psalmist in Psalm 119 writes to “Keep His Testimonies”. When we experience God’s intervention in our lives, we become a witness to His divine nature itself. Witness means “someone with a testimony”. Why is it important to keep His testimonies?  Bill Johnson, Senior Pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California, states: “I stay encouraged when I feed my heart on what God has done and not what He hasn’t yet done.”   It is important to feed our hearts on all that He has done, as it increases our faith to press into new realms of a deeper knowledge and relationship with God the Father. It also postures us for breakthroughs we are contending for.

Further, ‘our testimonies’ are His testimonies. By keeping His testimonies and telling of them, they encourage and edify others to press into any breakthrough they are contending for. Any specific testimony of something God has done also becomes a living entity and can be repeated again. Revealtion 19:10 says “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” When we have a testimony, it can become a catalytic for others to receive and to declare it over their same situation and in doing so, experience the breakthrough they are contending for. Our God is the “God of the breakthrough”. That is one of His names! See 2 Samuel 5: So David came to the place called Baalperazim (GOD OF THE BREAKTHROUGH) he came to that place in his heart in his live where God came through for him…

I thus invite all who have a testimony as a witness to the Divine Interventions of our God in your life, to share of them. Freely we have received from Him and freely we must give to others. This site is dedicated to the testimonies to the glory of our great God, that all may be encouraged and feed their hearts on what He has done…and that every testimony shared here will become a Spirit of Prophecy for our God of the Breakthrough to intervene in the lives of those contending for breakthroughs will receive them. I testify by what He has done in my own life and declare in Jesus’ name that  countless lives will be touched, transformed and forever changed by the Hand of Almighty God Himself.

I also welcome all who are contending for breakthroughs in their lives and lives of others to submit their requests in the section, ‘We Contend Together”, as there will be breakthroughs as we corporately lift up those of our brethren in need of answered prayer. Finally, I speak a blessing over your life that your Spirit and Soul prosper in all of His ways, and that His testimonies live in your heart. And from this place in your heart, you will speak of His great testimonies, so that all may see Christ in you, the hope of glory!
